Nordic HealthTech Delegation to Hong Kong & the GBA

Nordic Innovation House - Hong Kong (”NIH-HK”) is arranging a 4-day delegation trip for Nordic companies working within health tech to Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area (“GBA”- China). The main purpose of the delegation is to provide pre-arranged meetings with investors, potential business partners and stakeholders in healthcare industry in Hong Kong and the GBA.

Participating in the delegation trip will allow you to meet, pitch, and match-make with investors as well as gain valuable market insights about the favorable policies, forge new connections, and understand the business opportunities of health tech sector in Hongkong and the GBA.

NIH-HK aims to invite 8-12 Nordic heath tech companies offering innovative solutions within the life science and healthcare sector and having interest to meet and pitch investors and interested to learn opportunities to scale business in HK and the GBA.

4-Day visit program in HK and the GBA

Participants will take part in a four-day tour in Hong Kong and two GBA cities (i.e., Zhuhai and Shenzhen) meeting and pitching some of the major Hong Kong and Chinese institutional investors that work closely with the NIH-HK, together with, the GBA high rank government officials, relevant governing authority heads and legal and tax professionals. All of these parties can give you immediate China sales insights via the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (“CEPA”) and Technology to Equation (“T2E”) policies without the mandatory National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) registration on hand at present, on top of the potential investment, with ticket size ranging from 20-30 million RMB (equivalent to 2.5 to 3.8 million Euro).

In addition, visit to incubation centers, science parks, and meet up with relevant business stakeholders will be included.

Excluded: (Companies have to pay and arrange its own flight tickets, accommodation, and meals during the program)
