Nordic Innovation House-Silicon Valley welcomes addition to Team Sweden

Nordic Innovation House-Silicon Valley welcomes Business Sweden to join the swedish team.

Founded as a joint Nordic project in 2014 by Innovation Norway, Vinnova, Business Finland, Innovation Center Denmark and Innovation Center Iceland, Nordic Innovation House has been successful in annually supporting hundreds of Nordic companies get access to the Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem. The project has been supported by Nordic Innovation and Nordic Ministerial Council over the years.

It is not a surprise that as the land of start-up “unicorns” Sweden sees hundreds of its entrepreneurs bringing their business ideas to the largest economy in the world. Business Sweden and Vinnova have long track-records of helping these Swedish companies enter the U.S., shortening their time to market and connecting them to state-side innovation and the famous Silicon Valley.

We are happy to announce a stronger Swedish presence at the Nordic Innovation House-Silicon Valley as these two organizations bring their expertise to the table in 2019. A win-win for the Nordics, the collaboration made possible by the joint “House” in Palo Alto will build new opportunities and connections for all involved.

Business Sweden is an organization jointly owned by the Government of Sweden and representatives from the Swedish business community. In the past 10 years they have helped over 1600 Swedish companies grow their global sales and accelerate their time to market in the U.S. With local industry expertise and an intimate understanding of U.S. and Swedish business, Business Sweden’s hands-on support has been instrumental in providing them, and now the Nordic Innovation House and its members, access to the U.S. market.
