1. What is The Liveability Challenge? The Liveability Challenge is a global platform that hunts for and accelerates the launch of innovative solutions to urban challenges of cities in the tropics. The Challenge is Asia's biggest prize for sustainability solutions, and a key highlight in Singapore's calendar of sustainability events.
From 14 January to 13 April 2022, the Challenge will be crowdsourcing for solutions that will help cities accelerate decarbonisation, meet increasing global demand for food, and regenerative business models that can conserve the planet’s natural ecosystems.
2. All solutions submitted to The Liveability Challenge must fulfil the following criteria to be considered: • Must have proof of concept • At least Technology Readiness Level 6 • Must be applicable to Singapore and urban environments in the tropics
3. What are the prizes? Finalists will pitch their solutions to a panel of investors at the Grand Finale in June for the chance to secure the grand prize of S$1 million in project funding from Temasek Foundation. Other prizes on the table include a minimum of S$100,000 in funding each from investors such as Amasia, Purpose Venture Capital, Silverstrand Capital and Quest Ventures.
The Liveability Challenge (TLC) is presented by Temasek Foundation and organised by Eco-Business. Nordic Innovation House Singapore is a Challenge Partner for TLC 2022.
