The National Innovation Challenges, an initiative by the Info-Communications Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA), Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and National Research Foundation (NRF), aims to to address mid- and long-term sectoral issues through innovation, and help companies emerge stronger.

Building on the strong response from the first NIC call in July, we are launching a second wave of 7 new challenges - 3 of which will be hosted on IMDA’s Open Innovation Platform (OIP). Each NIC challenge will be allocated up to S$2 million in co-funding support for accelerated deployment and adoption.
