2024 Innovations in Circular Economy, Recycling and Waste Management
2024 Innovations in Circular Economy, Recycling and Waste Management
Singapore, 19 March 2024
Both the Nordics and Singapore share a commitment towards advancing the principles of the circular economy, focusing on efforts to minimize waste and promote sustainability in consumption & production practices.
As part of an official side event to the World Circular Economy Forum WCEF (which presents the world’s leading circular economy solutions with business leaders, policymakers and experts participating from around the world), we hosted an event on 19 March to bridge Nordic innovations with initiatives in Singapore. This session was a great example of collaboration & dialogue to connect both ecosystems - showcasing solutions on the future of circular economy, waste management & recycling by Nordic companies and sharing practical cases through panel discussion.
Thank you for hosting us H.E. Ambassador Juha Markkanen and for your attendance H.E. Ambassador Stefán Haukur Jóhannesson and H.E. Ambassador Anders Sjoberg
Of course, a big thank you to our presenters for the insights shared:
• IPI, Paula Sng on Plastic Recycling in Singapore: Turning Challenges into Opportunities
• Envac, FREDRIK LAURITSEN, on Low Carbon, Net Zero and Digitization
• RiverRecycle, Janne N. on Circular economy model to stop ocean plastics
• Ramboll, Sarah Katz on Creating circular business cases

and last but not least great thanks to our active audience!
