1.Bergen Carbon Solutions from Norway
NIH-TYO Member Company Bergen Carbon Solutions is a supplier and manufacturer of carbon nanofibers. Rather than using natural gas to produce carbon nanofibers, with resulting CO₂- emissions, Bergen Carbon Solutions uses CO₂ to produce the nanofibers, leaving only O₂ -emissions.
2. Compact Carbon Capture from Norway
Our mission is to decrease the cost of CO2 capture, and to make it easier to deploy carbon capture equipment. With our technology, CO2 emissions can be eliminated also in cases where it is hard or impossible to decarbonize through renewable energy and production efficiency.
Greenbyte is a developer and enabler of smart data software to drive productivity in renewables. Greenbyte platform pulls data from all renewable energy technologies and data sources into one place, empowering portfolio owners, and their asset managers, to make truly informed decisions.
The company produces a special water pipe nozzle that creates Ultra-Fine Bubbles. These innovative bubbles can be used in a variety of use cases.
Coal ash or biomass ash ends up at landfills or for concrete. AC Biode has developed a new technology and process called “CircuLite” to recycle them into multi-functional chemical composites, such as for filter, soil improvement, water improvement, deodorant, beauty products, and more.
6. Green Science Alliance Co.,Ltd. from Japan
The company chases for cutting edge technology in the field of energy and environmental science. Developing 100% biomass based biodegradable resin instead of petroleum based plastic. They are also developing rechargeable batteries such as lithium sulfur battery, which has a 5-times higher capacity than lithium ion battery.
