Welcome to another Nordic Talks Japan event!

Digitalization is a powerful tool to implement the SDGs and the new Japanese government has put digitization and eGovernment front and centre as a key policy ambition. For the Japanese public, even though the lack of digitalization is a burden to many in their everyday life, at the same time there are great concerns on issues such as inclusion of the elderly and trust in authorities’ ability to safely handle personal data on its citizens.

At this Nordic Talk, discussions will examine how we can ensure a transparent and accountable digitalization of government where all groups in society are included. Looking at examples from the Nordic countries, from both public and private sectors, the event ambition is to give all participants food for thought on how digitalization can help support social equity, sustainability and ensuring that all people can access quality services.

ノルディックトークスジャパンへようこそ！

デジタル化はSDGsを実現にするための重要な道具であり（SDGs目標9: 産業と技術革新の基盤をつくろう）、日本政府は社会のデジタル化そして電子政府（E-Gov）を重要な政策として位置付けています。同時に、コロナ下で在宅勤務の需要に対する対策の遅れが目立つなど、OECD諸国の中でも日本の低いDXスコアが顕著に浮彫りとなりました。DXの遅延は人々の生活に支障をきたす一方で、日本の国民は高齢者の包摂（インクルージョン）や政府の個人データ管理能力などについて、社会のデジタル化に大きな懸念を抱いているのも事実です。

今回のNordic Talks Japanでは、「信頼と包摂性：北欧から学ぶ誰も取り残されないデジタル社会」というテーマのもと、透明性と信頼性に富んだDX（特に電子政府）の実現に向けて何ができるかを議論します。北欧諸国の官民両方のケーススタディーを交えながら、すべての人が質の高いデジタルサービスの恩恵を受けられること、DXがどのように社会の平等や持続可能性に貢献するのかなど、新しいインスピレーションを提供する場になることを願っています。
